Taxis are readily available outside the terminal. An airport bus is available that connects to the underground system. There is also a jet express airport shuttle serving central Berlin. Berlin's integrated public transport system (the BVG) is the best way to get about. One ticket allows travel on all trams, trains, ferries and buses. From Berlin Tegel Airport: Take the highway in the direction of Zentrum Charlottenburg. Exit at Kurfurstendamm and continue for one kilometre. The hotel is located on the left hand side, at the corner of Joachim Friedrich Strasse.
